Shinomori Michiyo, daughter of Misao and Aoshi, from my fanfic "Like Father Like Son."
She's dressed in her Oniwabanshu uniform with her chain swords. I realized after drawing the pic that she didn't have any sheaths. Where does she stash those things? *scratches head* I can't figure out how she would sheathe them anyway, since there's the chain. Maybe she can take them apart and put them together with god-like speed?
Notice that she's wearing hakama. Conservative/shy Michiyo wouldn't wear shorts like her mother, or tight Western pants like her father, and since she couldn't fight in her favored yukata, I gave her hakama. She also wears a metal mesh shirt underneath (like many traditional ninja), so she's not as fast as she could be in close combat. But that's okay, since with her hidden kunai and chain swords, Michiyo is more of a mid-range to long-range fighter. If they made a fighting video game for LFLS, I would love to play as Michiyo! *squee!*
I decided to play around with Photoshop for this pic, rather than use traditional medium like I normally do. *winces* It didn't turn out as nicely as I would have liked. *sigh* Once I get Illustrator (the program I'm better versed in) the quality of my digital art should go up.
